Stainless Steel Coil Introduction
304SS: Has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low
temperature strength and mechanical properties. Good workability
such as stamping and bending, no heat treatment and hardening, and
no magnetism. Mostly used in household products (Class 1, 2
furniture), cabinets, indoor pipelines, water heaters, boilers,
bathtubs, building materials, food industry, etc.
316L: MO element (2-3%) is added to stainless steel, so it has
excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, and
high temperature creep strength. Can be used under harsh
conditions, good work hardening, non-magnetic. Generally used in
seawater equipment, chemistry, fuel, paper making, coastal
facilities, etc.
316SS: It is the second widely used steel grade after 304, mainly
used in the food industry and surgical equipment. Adding MO element
makes it obtain a special structure that resists corrosion. Because
it has better chloride resistance than 304, it is also used as
"marine steel". SS316 is usually used in fuel recovery devices.
